Hello everyone I'm Jorge Romero.

I am a first generation college student who like to draw to pass the time. My major at the Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) is English with an interests of pursuing a minor in Business Administration once I transfer to a four year university. I have few universities I am thinking of transferring to, but I haven't decided on one as of now. My first year here at the SRJC was hard to make the transition from high school to college, but the more time I spend here the more I grasp what its means to be a college student. One thing I have learned is that every college student can't tackle college by themselves and they need a support system to help them navigate college and their personal life. At SRJC we have a wide range of support systems that can help out students. What it means to be a success coach is having a fellow student who has more experience being at the SRJC as a guide to help with the transition.
